 WORLD HOCKEY TOURNAMENTS IN FRANCE - May 2008
In 2003 Sports Global Tours in partnership with the Hockey Clubs of Cholet and Angers created the "World Cup" tournaments. Our goal was bring to gather different countries in a challenging tournament. During the tournament the kids can represent their countries and receive a jersey with national colors. Each year we welcome north america teams (especially Canadians) in these tournaments. These tournaments will be placed under the sign of fun and discovery for kids... the pleasure to endorse a jersey with national colors and to keep it home at the end of the tournament... the discovery of new teams with different cultures and traditions... the pleasure of exchanging on and off the ice, this common passion for ice hockey... the discovery of many treasures in the most visited country in the world... In 2007 we welcomed 8 Canadian teams and we added 2 new international tournaments in Tours and Strasbourg. WARNING ! For the 2007-2008 season the french ice hockey federation changes the kids ages categories So the ages categories for 2008 tournaments will be as follow : Tournaments April and May 2008 U18 = Midget = players born in 1990-91-92 -Cholet "World Cup" and Strasbourg International Tournaments U15 = Bantam = players born in 1993-94 - Angers "World Cup" and Tours "World Cup" U13 = Pee Wee = players born in 1995-96 - NHL Tours and Niort Tournaments U11 = Atome = players born in 1997-98 - Niort Tournament Tournaments April and May 2008
